Is it okay to be angry at God?
Scripture takes anger to God, not around him
The Psalms shout, question and accuse. Job demands an answer and does not get a tidy one. Jeremiah tells God he feels deceived. These are in the Bible on purpose: they show that faith has room for rage, and that God would rather have your anger than your absence.
Anger is usually grief with nowhere to go
People get angry at God over loss, injustice, a prayer that went unanswered. Underneath the anger is almost always pain. Naming it to God is how the pain starts to move, rather than hardening into distance.
The danger is not the anger, it is the turning away
What quietly ends a faith is not a hard word thrown at God; it is deciding he is not worth talking to anymore. The angry psalmists stayed in the conversation, and that is why they came out the other side.
Somewhere to say it
If you are angry at God and have nowhere to put it, that is worth more than a verse thrown at it. kinwove can sit with the anger and the loss underneath it, in your own words, without rushing you to feel better, and point you to a person when that is what you need.

Isn’t it a sin to be angry at God?
The Bible treats honest lament as part of faith, not a sin. It records it without condemning it. What it warns against is hardening and walking away.
What do I do with the anger?
Bring it to God plainly, the way the Psalms do. Say the real thing. Anger spoken to God tends to move; anger swallowed tends to calcify.
Will God be offended?
He already knows what you feel. Saying it is honesty, not news to him, and the Bible shows him meeting people who did exactly that.
